- Help! iPad Air 4th Gen Screentime Always 24H...
- #1
Hi everyone,
I bought my iPad in 2020 for university, but didn’t end up using it at all because of the problem I’m asking about. Lately I’ve been using it more again, so I thought I’d finally ask if anyone has a fix for it.
The problem is as follows:
My iPad always shows that my screentime is 24 hours a day, even when I’ve not touched it in months and have done no activations whatsoever. Even if its been off for months, the screentime says 24 hours for every single day. Due to this, the battery of my iPad is basically always dead – if I want to use it, it has to be plugged in. If I leave it with 100% in the evening, it will be dead in the morning despite me not using it at all. I do have an Apple Pencil which is attached to the iPad, but even if I take it off, it doesn’t make a difference in any way.
I don’t understand what’s wrong with my iPad and was wondering if anyone encountered the same/found a solution. Since it’s been so long since I bought it, I would feel a little embarrassed to go to the Apple Store to ask. I should have done that immediately after buying it when first noticing the problem, but didn’t come around to doing it, so that’s on me
I would appreciate any help I can get! Thanks a lot in advance.
