iPhone photos in portrait mode don‘t get synched with iCloud

i am using an IPhone 13 running on OS17.4.1 and I have problems syncing fotos from my iPhone when they were recorded in portrait mode. Once there is one portrait photo in the sync queue it get‘s stuck completely. When I restart my iPhone the photos are lost on the phone and definitely not synched to iCloud (they are also not in the deleted files folder).

When I try to share these photos via Shared folder it does not work; when I try to send via airdrop it get‘s stuck preparing the photos; when I remove the portrait mode, I can share via airdrop…

I am running out of ideas on what to do and I have already lost a number of photos. Appreciate any suggestions.

Bitte überprüfe deinen Speicherplatz:

1. im iPhone selbst
2. in der iCloud

In beiden sollten zirka 6% Speicherplatz frei sein.
