- Problems with iPhone 15 Battery Drain...
- #1
Hello Everyone,
After updating to the most recent iOS version (iOS 17.0.3) on my iPhone 15, I've noticed a noticeable decrease in battery life. With moderate use, I could easily get through the entire day before the update, but now, even when my phone is in standby mode, the battery seems to drain considerably faster. The problem still exists even after I reviewed my settings, shut off location services for any unnecessary apps, and stopped background app refresh for the majority of apps. I've also attempted a complete restart and configuration reset in the community.
It appears that some system functions (such "System Services") are consuming a lot more power than they used to, based on the battery usage statistics I looked at in the settings. I haven't changed my usage habits or added any new apps, so I'm not sure why this is occurring.
Has anyone else noticed such problems with the iPhone 15 or any other device's battery drain following the latest update? If so, what solutions or workarounds have you discovered? Any pointers or suggestions on how to extend battery life would be greatly appreciated. I would also want to know about any known flaws with this version of iOS, as well as whether Apple has noticed this problem.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Regards
